Farm Management

Let your farm be managed by Fuhrmann

Fully transparent

The Fuhrmann management philosophy is based on full transparency, so you will always know what happens on your property.

Regular income

Fuhrmann pays you a regular rental income on the wool weight produced on your farm.

Stress free

Enjoy the ownership of your farm without the hassle of managing it.

Relax while we take care of your farm

Fuhrmann has been managing farms since 2008. We are equipped to manage farms large and small. Our skilled farm managers work based on a long-term strategy to enhance the property and wool production in line with our Fuhrmann philosophy.

The Fuhrmann philosophy is all about working with nature to create the most beautiful natural fibre. This is why we only manage farms in accordance with the SENASA organic sheep standard. This method of growing wool ensures higher biodiversity and healthier soils which prevent desertification. In addition, we implement high animal welfare standards which improve production on the property. While the organic management system asks for more investments of time, money and skills, it pays off in the long term as what is good for the planet is good for human mankind.

In addition, we strongly believe that the demand for organic wool will continue to increase. So what makes sense for protecting our precious Patagonian environment also makes good business sense.

  • On farm investments

Fuhrmann will make all the necessary on-farm investments to ensure the farm can be managed at its best capacities. Repairs, infrastructure, fencing etc. is something you no longer need to worry about.

  • Personnel management

At Fuhrmann, we employ our own farm managers, shearing teams, wool experts and many more who will come to work on your farm. Everyone of our staff member is well trained, officially registered and of course, gets paid by us. Something you can take off your to-do list.

  • Dollar income

The wool industry is an international business, therefore everything is financed in US$. Your rental income is calculated by the amount of wool produced on your farm and paid in US$. This takes the stress of currency issues off you.

  • Full transparency

Transparency is of the highest importance in our business and also applies to how we manage the farms entrusted to us. You will be regularly informed and can inquire about everything we do on your farm at all times.

  • Transition to organic

All farms managed by Fuhrmann will be transitioning into organic-certified farms. This ensures a sustainable future for your property and secures long-term value development as soil and biodiversity stay intact or will even improve on your farm.
